Privacy Policy
Effective July 9, 2026
This policy explains what planyour65.com (“we”) collects when you use app.planyour65.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose. Questions: support@planyour65.com.
What we collect
- Your answers: your date of birth, your state, and your answers to the coverage questions in the deadline checker. That is what the date math needs.
- Email, only at purchase: you can run the free check and see your full result without giving any email. We ask for an email address only when you buy the Personal Enrollment Plan, because we deliver it by email.
- Optional first name: you may give a first name at purchase so your plan can address you. It is optional.
- Abuse prevention: a one-way hashed version of your IP address, and at purchase a one-way hashed version of your email, used only to limit abuse of the free checker. We do not store your raw IP address.
- Marketing source: if you arrived from one of our own pages or ads, the campaign tag in the link (UTM), so we know which pages work.
- Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and a transaction reference. We never see or store your card number.
What we do not collect
No Social Security number. No Medicare number (MBI). No health records. The service never asks for them and has no field to enter them. There are also no passwords: signing in to re-download documents works through a one-time email link.
How we use it
Your answers are used to compute your personal enrollment windows and penalty exposure, and, if you purchase, to prepare and email your Personal Enrollment Plan. If you purchase, one AI provider processes your case data to write the narrative text of your plan: Anthropic. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. All dates and dollar figures in your plan are computed by our own code, not by the AI.
Service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service:
- Supabase: database and private file storage (hosted in the US).
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Resend: sends our emails.
- Vercel: application hosting.
- Anthropic: writes the narrative text of purchased plans, as described above.
How long we keep it
Your answers, results, email, and generated documents are deleted automatically 30 days after your check. You can also delete them yourself at any time, immediately and without an account, at /delete.
What survives deletion: the anonymous hashed counters described above (hashed IP and hashed email), which we keep so that deletion cannot be used to reset abuse limits, and basic payment records (amount, date, transaction reference) that we keep for accounting. Neither contains your answers, your documents, or your card number.
Your rights
You can request access to or deletion of your personal information at any time. State laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and Washington’s My Health My Data Act give residents of those states specific rights over personal and health-related data. We do not make you prove where you live: we honor deletion and access requests from any state. Use /delete for immediate deletion, or email support@planyour65.com for anything else.
No selling, no ads, no tracking
We do not sell or share your personal data. There is no advertising on the app and no cross-site tracking. The only cookies are the essential session cookies that keep you signed in after you use a sign-in link.
Children
This service is about turning 65. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date above. This version is effective July 9, 2026.
